Services
We have a range of mental health clinicians on our team who offer therapy sessions face-to-face and via telehealth. You do not need to be suffering a mental illness to benefit from psychological support. We can also assist with anything from executive stress through to adjustment to parenting. We offer evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and EMDR.
We can provide treatment by whatever means works best for you, whether that be in-person across our many locations in Tasmania, in Melbourne or via Telehealth.
Some define the perinatal period as covering pregnancy to baby’s first birthday. We’re a bit more inclusive. We can provide support from the moment you start thinking about having a baby. Because infertility, miscarriage, termination and stillbirth are still perinatal concerns. Because it can take years to fully recalibrate after giving birth.
Whether you're struggling to conceive, or grieving a miscarriage, trying to adjust to being a new parent, or worried about bonding, the road to parenthood is rarely as smooth as the movies would have us believe. We have experienced perinatal clinicians on our team that can help.
We’re thrilled to announce our availability for assessment of ADHD in people over 18. And a referral is not necessary.
We take a team-based approach to assessment, with our senior clinicians collaborating with our early career clinicians … or put simply, you get two heads for the process of one. We work collaboratively to help you fully delve into whether an ADHD diagnosis is something that can clarify what you’ve been struggling with for so long, confirm what you perhaps already suspect, or even rule ADHD out so you can focus on the real issue.
The STPI (short term psychological interventions) program is funded by Primary Health Tasmania, with money from the federal government. It is intended for low income earners with mild to moderate mental health conditions who have a GP referral and mental health care plan. The Crawley Clinic holds a contract with Primary Health Tasmania to provide STPI services to clients across Tasmania, either by telehealth, or face-to-face in the following regions (and surrounds): Launceston, St Helens, Bicheno, Swansea, Triabunna and Hobart. Eligible clients can access up to 18 sessions under the STPI funding. Please check with our office if you would like more information.
