Senior Clinician, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
Victoria (She/Her) is an experienced social worker who enjoys helping people to achieve their goals for change through identifying barriers to wellness and articulating strategies to overcome and balance these. Victoria provides therapy to our clients in Launceston, Bicheno, Swansea, and beyond, either in person or via Telehealth.
Victoria is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and draws from a range of evidence-based psychological therapies including Interpersonal Therapy (ITP) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) with a trauma-informed approach for adults and young people. Victoria is interested in the theories and work of Dan Siegal and Norman Doige, as well as the writings of those with lived experience of anxiety, depression and pain management.
Victoria is a born and bred Tasmanian, and has lived extensively in rural and remote areas both in Tasmania and the mainland, and understands what it is to live rurally in Tasmania and the complexities and gifts of living in a small community.
In her spare time, Victoria likes being at the beach, bushwalking, reading and playing music.
Victoria is available for face to face sessions in Bicheno, Swansea, St Helens and Launceston or appointments via Telehealth.
