Michelle Holligan

Provisional Psychologist
Michelle (She/Her) is a Provisional Psychologist with a Masters in professional psychology from La Trobe University and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Applied College of Professionals. Michelle has 15 years’ experience working in a Government State Secondary School as an Integration Aide supporting students with disabilities and learning difficulties and has volunteered with Griefline to support adults experiencing loss and grief.
Michelle enjoys working with a diverse range of ages (from childhood through to older adulthood) to support them to develop a greater understanding of themselves and their strengths and challenges, so that they can live their best life. She has a personal interest in neurodivergence and disability.
Michelle uses a person-centred approach and incorporates modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness practices.
In her free time Michelle enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching movies, reading books, and watching her son play wheelchair basketball.
Michelle is based in Melbourne and has availability for face-to-face sessions in Albert Park or via telehealth.
