Jake Undy

Provisional Psychologist
Jake is a dedicated Provisional Psychologist committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to clients. With a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Jake supports individuals in navigating life’s challenges, fostering resilience, and achieving meaningful personal growth.
Currently completing the 5+1 pathway to general registration, Jake works with clients presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. He integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based modalities to tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs.
With a warm and collaborative style, Jake strives to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical strategies for lasting change.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys time with his dog, mountain biking, and bush walks. He likes to read fantasy novels, watch football (AFL and soccer), and appreciates time spent engaging with various creative pursuits.
Jake is available for face-to-face sessions in Hobart and telehealth appointments.
