Hannah Dawson

Hannah (she/her) is a Forensic Psychologist registered in both Australia and the United Kingdom, and is a Board Approved Supervisor. After training and practising in the UK, she relocated to Tasmania in 2022 and joined The Crawley Clinic in 2023.

Hannah has extensive experience providing psychological assessments in both secure and community settings. She works with adolescents and adults presenting with mental health difficulties, trauma, personality difficulties, developmental disorders and offending-related concerns.

She provides a range of psychological assessments, including:

• Forensic psychological assessments
• Violence and offending risk assessments
• Cognitive assessments
• Capacity assessments
• Personality assessment
• Psychological assessments relating to Family Court proceedings

Hannah also provides consultation and professional support to psychologists, social workers and other mental health professionals working with individuals presenting with complex mental health needs, personality difficulties and offending-related risk.

Alongside her clinical work, Hannah has undertaken research into adverse childhood experiences, personality assessment and forensic psychology, and has published in the areas of offending behaviour and victimisation.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys exploring Tasmania with her dog, watching cricket, and discovering local cafés, restaurants and vineyards.

• Hobart (by arrangement)
• Via Telehealth, where clinically appropriate
