Daniel cole
Psychologist
Daniel (he/him) is a Regsitered Psychologist at The Crawley Clinic, currently working towards his clinical endorsement. He supports children, adolescents and adults across a range of concerns including anxiety, low mood, stress and overwhelm, self-esteem and confidence difficulties, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Daniel draws on evidence-based psychological therapies in a pragmatic, individualised way. His work is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema-informed Therapy, and attachment-focused perspectives, with an interest in how early relational patterns can shape current emotions, coping, and relationships. He values a balance of structure and depth, and collaborates with clients to develop clear goals while also making space for meaning, patterns, and deeper exploration.
Daniel aims to be open and transparent about the therapy process. Early sessions often include a shared conversation about what therapy is, what it can be used for, and any assumptions, expectations, or uncertainties a client may bring, so the work can be shaped around what feels most useful for each individual.
Outside of work, Daniel is a musician and enjoys staying creative through writing and art. He likes exploring nature around Hobart, swimming at the beach, taking lawn bowls seriously, and spending time in the park with a good novel or non-fiction book.
Daniel is available for face-to-face appointments in Hobart, or telehealth sessions Australia-wide.
