Lotus Ye
Psychologist
Lotus (They/Them) is a generally registered psychologist who has recently completed their master’s degree in clinical psychology. They have experience in a wide range of mental health and community settings, including inpatient groups, youth mental health, and LGBT+ and culturally diverse specific services. They strongly value therapy as a collaborative practice and a process where clients can take the time and space for themselves to feel heard and to discover what is most meaningful for them.
Lotus primarily sees adults and has a particular interest in working with people from the LGBT+ community and neurodiversity-affirming practice. They draw from various therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion and mindfulness-based approaches.
Outside of work, Lotus enjoys reading Stephen King novels, swing dancing, exploring the Tasmanian bush, and teaching their cats to walk on a harness.
Lotus is available for face to face sessions in the Crawley Clinic Hobart office and telehealth sessions Australia wide.
